Myron Yoder
Cirrus Standardized Instructor Pilot
Chief Flight Instructor, CFII, MEI, A&P

​ Myron has been instructing since 2010, he has flown over 6,000 hours, with over 5,000 hours of dual given (teaching in the plane). Myron has always been passionate about aviation.


He grew up in Belize, Central America and southern Mississippi with five siblings and some pretty amazing parents. Myron's dad is a private pilot and they share a love for things that fly.

Noah Showah
Flight Instructor - CFI

Noah has had a passion for flying ever since he was a kid. His father, who is a captain for Southwest Airlines, took Noah to his first airshow at a young age and has loved aviation ever since.


Noah attend Middle Tennessee State University while working on his commercial certificate, and shortly after, earned his certified flight instructor certificate. Noah is excited to teach and give his knowledge about aviation to others who have dreams of flying.

Autumn Park 

Flight Instructor - CFI, CFII

Autumn is a first-generation pilot whose aviation journey began when a flight school opened near her hometown. Inspired by the opportunity, she quickly began training and developed a passion for flying.

She earned her degree in Aerospace from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) and is excited to share her knowledge and enthusiasm for aviation with the next generation of pilots as a flight instructor.

Jackson Reilly Denny
Flight Instructor - CFI, MEI, AGI, IGI

As a first-generation aviator, Jackson understands both the excitement and challenges that come with pursuing a career in aviation without a family background in the industry. His own journey from student pilot to flight instructor has given him a deep appreciation for the dedication, perseverance, and mentorship that flying requires.

Jackson is passionate about both teaching and flying, and he takes pride in helping students build confidence in the cockpit while developing the knowledge and decision-making skills needed to become safe, competent pilots. Whether a student is pursuing aviation as a career or simply fulfilling a lifelong dream, he is committed to making flight training a rewarding and enjoyable experience.

His passion for flying is contagious, and his students always leave his classes feeling confident and ready to take on the skies. Tom's dedication to safety and attention to detail make him a true asset to the aviation community.

​​ Wright Base Flight Training’s “oldest member!” Former public school teacher, former Tennessee State Representative (2010-2016), civilian flight instructor, Part 91 Corporate first officer, Part 135 pilot, U. S. Air Force F-15 Fighter Pilot with 23 years of military service; served during the First Gulf War. Retired from American Airlines as a Captain on the B-737 with 31 years of service.

I have over 22,600 total hours and over 925 hours as an instructor. I personally own a Cessna 310R that is used for charitable relief flights and multi-engine instruction. Married for 39 years to a beautiful lady and we have four children and six grandchildren. ​

Hunter Matherly
Flight Instructor - CFI, CFII

​ Hunter Matherly is from White House, TN. He is a first generation pilot in his family. His interest in aviation was sparked while watching the Blue Angels at an air show at the age of 12y. Hunter decided to do a discovery flight at 16y and knew immediately that flying was what he had a passion for as a career.

Hunter started his flight training at Wright Base with Myron Yoder as his CFI. During that time he was a freshman at MTSU. He obtained the rest of his ratings at MTSU's Pro Pilot program. Hunter enjoys being able to share his love for aviation through teaching.

Daniel Rowell

CFI | CFII | MEI and Wright Base Director of Operations

For Daniel Rowell, flying is about more than earning certificates–it’s about building confidence, embracing adventure, and becoming the kind of pilot others trust. Inspired by a family legacy of military aviation and shaped by a career that demanded precision and discipline, Daniel brings a calm, encouraging approach to every lesson. Whether it’s a student’s first time at the controls or they’re pursuing an advanced rating, his goal is to create an environment where challenges become achievements and every flight moves them closer to becoming a capable, confident aviator.

Holding CFI, CFII, and MEI certifications, Daniel has a passion for instrument flying, multi-engine operations, and the spirit of bush flying that reminds us aviation is meant to be explored. As an active member of FAA Wings, EAA, and NAFI, he believes learning never stops. At Wright Base Flight Training, he’s committed to helping students discover not just how to fly an airplane, but the confidence to chase bigger horizons, embrace new challenges, and experience the freedom that makes aviation unlike anything else.
